Are you a creative and motivated individual looking to kickstart your career in marketing? Join our dynamic Student Recruitment Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice and gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting our digital marketing activities, learning practical skills while studying towards a recognised qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in marketing, working on real campaigns that attract, engage, and inspire our audiences.

This is initially a Fixed Term role for a period of 2 years to cover the completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across the College’s digital platforms (website, email and Intranet).

  • Create and schedule content for social media, email marketing and blogs.

  • Support the management and scheduling of content

  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital platforms

  • Conduct market and competitor research to support campaign planning

  • Help maintain and update marketing materials and databases

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency

  • Undertake training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship program

Education & Training

  • GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

  • GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

  • Eligible to undertake an apprenticeship program in the UK

Experience

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital tools

  • A genuine interest in marketing, advertising, and communications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good attention to detail and a creative mindset
