We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Initial Teacher Training provision as our ITT Partnership Manager.
You will build and maintain relationships with partner schools and all external stakeholders connected to Initial Teacher Training. You will be part of the quality assurance processes and ensure all placements are compliant. You will prepare our trainees for their placements and deliver modules that are linked to professional practice. You will also have teaching responsibilities for a cohort of ITT students.

Responsibilities include:
- To design and deliver a wide range of effective and inclusive teaching and learning activities
- To assess the work and progress of all students and provide them with constructive and timely feedback.
- To seek ways of improving student performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery, and obtaining and analysing feedback.
- To develop and apply innovative approaches to improving the learning environment, teaching and/or assessment and feedback methods
- Engage in professional development relating to teaching, learning and assessment, including the use of an evidence-informed approach, which utilises the outcomes of scholarship to enhance teaching practice
- Contribute to course development and the development of new programmes of study, demonstrating an inclusive and collaborative approach to delivery.
- Contribute to outreach and/or widening participation activity within the Department/ School
- Produce Plans of learning, lesson plans, assessment plans, varied learning materials and any other related activities that positively impact the effectiveness of learning.
- Maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students’ learning carried out.
- Communicating with students, the partnership schools, mentors, and academic staff, confirming placement arrangements and providing them with appropriate documentation, including details of all policies and procedures and assessment strategies.
- Preparing information for exam boards, which also includes providing any student information the board may require.
- Maintain a student interim & final report filing system
- Assist in visiting new and existing placements to evaluate the placement potential
- Gathering of statistical data for the monitoring and evaluation of placement provision for Initial Teacher Training– Evaluate & provide reports for the Head of School.
- Reminding and informing agencies of the payment process, including setting up new placement providers as new suppliers, raising purchase orders and dealing with invoices
- The role holder will be required to work both on-site & off-site, visiting placements as and when required.

Education & Training
- Bachelor's Degree or Level 6 Professional Qualification
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- GCSE A*- C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent. (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A – C) Or prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability, and then, if appointed, achieve within an agreed timescale
Experience
- Academic or industrial, or commercial experience in an area relevant to the programme.
- Experience with partnership management or employer liaison.
- Experience in Good teaching/training.
- Experience in student pastoral care and disciplinary procedures
- Experience in course leadership responsibilities.
