We have a fantastic opportunity to join Bradford College as an Events and Marketing Assistant where you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of a range of events and marketing activities aimed at promoting the college, enhancing student recruitment, and engaging key stakeholders.
Alongside events you will be involved in both digital and traditional marketing campaigns, helping to manage content creation, social media engagement, and brand promotion in order to showcase the opportunities our College has to offer to students, staff, and the wider community.
Please note that interviews for this position will take place week commencing 12th January.
Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the planning, development, and execution of college events, including open days, recruitment fairs, graduation ceremonies, and staff/student engagement activities.
Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, admissions, student services, and academic teams, to ensure all events align with the college’s goals and strategic priorities.
Work closely with external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to secure venues, services, and promotional materials.
Develop event marketing plans in collaboration with the marketing team to ensure effective promotion of events via digital platforms, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
Create engaging content for event promotional materials, ensuring clear messaging about event objectives, schedules, and key information for participants.
Monitor and analyse event marketing effectiveness and make adjustments to enhance engagement and attendance.
Collect and analyse data on event outcomes, including attendee feedback, participation rates, and financial performance.
Use insights to inform future event planning and enhance the overall experience for attendees.

Education & Training
GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths, or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability, and then, if appointed, achieve within an agreed timescale

Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience
Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of events (e.g., open days, recruitment fairs, graduations).
Experience managing event budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective event delivery.
Strong experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for event planning and execution.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
